Boycott ALL The Places Contributing to Dolphin Death!

How do you feel about the capture of dolphin from the wild for Cayman Dolphin parks, or any other marine mammals for any captive parks.

Just say NO!

Don't go and the Cayman dolphin parks will shut down and the dolphin will live. It's that simple!

Got my Attention

Well I for one can say that the information you provide did have a big effect on my decision to not visit the dolphin parks during my Cayman Islands vacation. The photos, videos and other evidence is beyond dispute. These types of places have no place in an educated society.

The diving outfits and Cathy Church really surprised me! We certainly will not be patronizing any of these places.

Question to Keep Dolphin Free - If Cathy Church is on the boycott list, then WHY are you linking to them and saying "This company turns away business from Cayman Islands dolphin parks" on the main page?

Thank you for noticing that, Cathy Church has been removed. We do not live in the Cayman Islands so news reaches us a little later sometimes. We rely on people like you to help us keep our facts current, provide recent pictures, updates, and anything you can do to help.

It's easy to find alternatives to these places, there are so many tourist stores in the Caymans.

Magnum Jewelers - Alternative = Colombian Emeralds
Kirk Freeport - Alternative = Colombian Emeralds
Cayman Villas - Alternative = Google "Cayman Rental Properties"
Cracked Conch - Alternative = Calypso Grill
Osetra Bay - Alternative = Burger King!
Turtle Farm = Alternative = Gee I don't know, what about going in the ocean? I hear they have one of those in the Cayman Islands.

I'm going to the Caymans in May with a group of 12 friends/family, and we will most definitely not be frequenting any dolphin parks or any of the places associated with them. I've been to the Caymans before and there are a LOT of very suitable alternatives to every one of those places in support of dolphin camps. There is no reason or need to patronize any company on the boycott list.

More alternatives

Postby vendels » Tue Apr 05, 2011 7:42 am

What a great idea! Given a choice, why not go to the places that support the conservation of ecology rather than its exploitation and destruction.

Here are a few more alternatives

Cotton Tree - Burger King or any pizza parlor
Spirit of the West - Pampered Poines
Indepth Watersports!!! - Living the Dream, Divetech, Neptunes, Off the Wall, Eden Rock, need more? The dive companies should especially know better, the dolphin parks are destroying their own vital resources!
Body Works - There is a spa at every resort
Cayman Taffee - Bring your own taffy if you want taffy!
Luca - Bad restaurant anyway, for Italian Pappagallo and Lighthouse
Ragazzi - Same as above
Wharf - Grand Old House

No reason to go to any places really, that are associated or profiting from the dolphin parks. Plenty of alternatives, we will stay clear of all on the boycott list.

It's easy enough to find equal or better replacements for any of the places doing business with the dolphin parks. Most of them have BETTER alternatives. Who would want a helicopter ride around a flat island anyway? That one must be a joke. The plane ride in is more than enough to see from the air. So that's one down, and it won't cost anything. :D
